Please refer to our phone directory when calling the office. If you are leaving a message, please leave your name, number, and purpose of your call. Your call will be returned promptly. If you call after 4:00 pm, the answering service will take a message. Remember to dial 911 for emergencies.
Appointments:
All patients are seen by appointment only. Please check in with the receptionist to confirm your arrival to our office. If there has been a change in your name, address, phone, or insurance coverage since your last visit, please let us know. If it becomes necessary to cancel your appointment, please call us within 24 hours so other patients can be scheduled at that time. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the appropriate office for your physician.
We appreciate your effort to arrive on time for your appointment. If you must miss an appointment, please contact us 24 or more hours in advance to reschedule. This will help us maintain a precise appointment schedule and allow us to spend time with you when you are here. If you miss an appointment we will call you with a friendly reminder. Further missed appointments without notification can result in a $ 25.00 charge which is not billable to an insurance company.
Emergencies:
If you have a digestive health emergency while our office is closed, a physician is always on-call. Please call the office and our answering service will have a physician call you. Remember to always dial 911 for a life threatening situation.
Prescriptions and Refills:
Please contact your pharmacy for any routine refills at least a week before your supply is gone to avoid running out of medications. We handle all medication prescriptions/refills during office hours only, and we can only refill prescriptions that were originally prescribed by our physicians.
Requests for refills may be made during regular office hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All medications can be refilled two business days prior to when the original prescription is scheduled to run out. Refill requests that are phoned in after 3 p.m. will be filled the following business day, therefore, a refill called in after 3 p.m. on Friday will be handled the following Monday. Please note, if you have not been seen by a Gastroenterology Consultant physician within the last six months and do not have a follow up visit scheduled, you may be asked to make an appointment prior to the authorization of medication refills.
